NEW YORK -- Sound engineer Charles Moniz picked up his third career Grammy Award on Sunday afternoon, with a chance for another two prizes later in the night.
The Burlington, Ont.-raised musician shared a production award for best engineered album, non-classical for his work on Bruno Mars' "24K Magic."
His fellow engineers on the record accepted the honour, saying Moniz was busy preparing for the Grammys telecast later in the evening, where he is nominated for both record and album for work on "24K Magic."
The Canadian engineer already has two Grammys on his mantel. He previously won for work on Adele's album "25" and Mark Ronson's megahit "Uptown Funk."
The majority of the Grammys are being handed out in a pre-telecast ceremony hosted by Paul Shaffer and streamed live on the Grammys website.
