Meghan Markle, 鈥淪uits鈥� actress, is brushing shoulders with Canada鈥檚 elite.
The American actress who was as Prince Harry鈥檚 girlfriend posted a photo of her speaking to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Instagram Thursday.
In a Throwback Thursday photo taken by CCTV broadcaster , Markle is seen talking to Trudeau at the One Young World summit in Ottawa earlier this year.
She also snapped photos with some of the delegates during the One Young World event which took place between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1.
Markle is an active humanitarian campaigner - especially for gender equality. This year she was named global ambassador for World Vision Canada.
She has also done work for United Nations Women and received a standing ovation after a speech she made on International Women鈥檚 Day at the Women鈥檚 conference in 2015.
It鈥檚 not the first time she鈥檚 crossed paths with the Trudeaus; she鈥檚 also believed to be friends with Sophie Gregoire Trudeau. She鈥檚 also been seen in social media posts hanging out with Sophie Gregoire Trudeau鈥檚 fashion strategist, Jessica Mulroney, daughter鈥搃n-law of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.
