"Corner Gas" fans eager to fill up on the show's droll humour can now buy episodes online, through Apple's .

It's just one of several Canadian shows available, along with full NHL games.

"We're thrilled to bring television programming to the iTunes Store in Canada in time for the holiday season," Eddy Cue, Apple's vice-president of iTunes, said in a press release.

"I'm very excited about Corner Gas being on iTunes," said Brent Butt, star of "Corner Gas."

"Initially I was excited because I thought it meant Corner Gas was going to be turned into a musical. But it turns out I was confused. The show will be available on iTunes just the way we made it, which is also awesome."

Programming from The Comedy Network and MTV will be available as well. TV shows have never before been available for download from iTunes in Canada.

New episodes of the shows will be added to the iTunes store the day after they are broadcast, and can be purchased for $1.99.

"More platforms ultimately means more viewers," said Susanne Boyce, President, Creative, Content and Channels, CTV Inc.

"Following our initiatives in Broadband and VOD, this content on iTunes raises awareness of these great Canadian series and specialty properties to different audiences. Additionally, it allows CTV viewers to play catch up as well, delivering CTV content on their own terms."

The iTunes offerings are in addition to the episodes available for streaming on the CTV Broadband Network at CTV.ca and On Demand from Rogers Cable.

  • Corner Gas: All aired episodes from season four and season five are available now. New episodes will be available after they air on the Comedy Network.
  • Robson Arms: All episodes from season two are available now. New episodes will be available the day following their CTV premiere.
  • Degrassi: The Next Generation: All episodes from the sixth season are available now and new episodes from Season 7 will be available the day following their television premiere.
  • Instant Star: The complete third season is available now and new episodes from Season 4 will be available the day following their television premiere on CTV.
  • South Park: Previously aired episodes from seasons nine, ten and the current season eleven. New episodes will be available the day following their broadcast on The Comedy Network.
  • The Sarah Silverman Program: Previously aired episodes from season one and the current season two are available now. New episodes will be available the day following their broadcast on The Comedy Network.
  • Drawn Together: Previously aired episodes from seasons one, two and season three are available now. New episodes will be available the day following their broadcast on The Comedy Network.
  • The Hills: Previously aired episodes from season three, which just concluded earlier this week on MTV in Canada, are available now.
