#JeSuisAhmed salutes police officer slain in Paris attacksStorified by · Thu, Jan 08 2015 16:41:55 A day after #JeSuisCharlie was trending on Twitter to salute the slain journalists at Paris weekly Charlie Hebdo, a new hashtag is paying tribute to a Muslim police officer executed in the street by the attackers.

Ahmed Merabet, a married 42-year-old bicycle patrolman, was shot dead in the street after 11 others were killed in the newspaper鈥檚 offices in the 11th arrondissement.
