Computer hackers are out for blood from fans of the Twilight series, as a number of malicious viruses have been linked to web searches for the popular film franchise.

According to web security firm Norton, Twilighters should tread carefully as they gear up for the release of "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1," which gets a theatrical release on Nov. 18.

"Savvy cybercriminals know that when it comes to the supernatural series, curiosity can sometimes trump caution," said a news release.

The makers of Norton, which is made by Symantec, warned this week that searching the following terms could leave your computer (or your parents' computer) infected with a virus:

  • "Nude pictures of Taylor Lautner"
  • "Robert and Kristin kissing"
  • "Twilight true love"

In recent interviews, the film's director Bill Condon revealed that the biggest challenge in making the movies was staying true to the book version.

Over the past few years, the vampire-and-werewolf-focused Twilight books and movies have won many teenaged fans.
