TORONTO - Sum 41 has cancelled a string of concert dates after singer Deryck Whibley suffered a back injury while on tour.
The band's publicist says all remaining Canadian appearances have been scrapped, including stops in Toronto, Montreal, Thunder Bay, Ont., Ottawa and the Maritimes.
There was no word on how Whibley was injured, other than that it happened while on the road.
The spiky haired frontman is married to punky pop princess Avril Lavigne.
Concert promoter Live Nation says refunds are available at point of purchase.
