Quiet, sophisticated drama ruled the red carpet at the 67th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles.

Given the crisis in Haiti, celebrities ditched those big, bold colours and let basic black and red ribbon pins supporting the devastated country be the fashion staples for the ceremony.

The night was not without its sexy entrances, however. From Halle Berry to Mariah Carey, stars and their plunging necklines added a surprise hit of heat to the cool award-show telecast.
