The Japanese soccer fans didn’t have to be that nice. After all, their team lost the game.
With Didier Drogba’s substitution into the game, his presence on the field lit a fire under the feet of his teammates, and Ivory Coast came back from a goal behind Japan 2-1 on Saturday.
Japan’s fans, who could be seen chanting and cheering on their team from the stands, could have left the stadium saddened and disappointed.
Just leave the beer cups under the seats and get back to the hotel after watching in the rain, right?
Instead, Japanese fans were pictured on social media taking time to go through the stands and clean up after themselves.
So, is it safe to say Japan has the most courteous fans of the tournament?
