Making friends at music festivals just got a whole lot easier, thanks to an interactive bracelet that connects revelers.

Festivalgoers at Belgium's Tomorrowland this month (July 18-20 and July 25-27) will be able to connect with one another by both pressing a button located on each personal wristband.

Each bracelet is activated online and hooked up to the user's Facebook account, meaning that when the buttons are pressed a friendship request is sent via the site which can be accepted post-festival.

The festival is sending out the bracelets to each of the thousands of guests ahead of the musical extravaganza which kicks off later this month.

The bracelets also act as electronic tickets, letting partygoers enter the site and providing access to the camping area.

Smart bracelets are big news at festivals at the moment, with Lollapalooza recently unveiling "Lolla Cashless" -- wristbands which serve as cashless wallets -- and Barclays testing out its bPay bands at the Wireless music festival in the UK.
