OTTAWA -- Two of the three major federal party leaders will be canvassing for votes today in Quebec.

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will be in his Montreal home riding of Papineau, which he won by more than 4,300 votes in 2011.

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair has events in Mascouche, just north of Montreal and in the small communities of Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola near Sorel and Danville, where he will visit a dairy farm.

Conservative Leader Stephen Harper will deliver remarks and join several local Conservative candidates during an appearance in Markham, north of Toronto.

Green party Leader Elizabeth May will visit three ridings in her home province of British Columbia.
