MONTREAL - Poker multimillionaire Jonathan Duhamel has a message for youngsters thinking of following his career path -- don't do it.

Duhamel says poker is a game where luck is often more important than experience and talent.

The 23-year-old Quebecer says he is still coming to terms with the sudden fame that has come with the $8.94 million he won at the World Series of Poker this week in Las Vegas.

He told a news conference in Montreal today the victory was a magic moment in his life.

It was just a few years ago that the native of Boucherville dropped out of the finance program at the Universite du Quebec a Montreal and decided to gamble on becoming a full-time poker player.
