TORONTO - A third person in Canada has died of swine flu.

A spokesman for Ontario's health minister has confirmed that a person who had been hospitalized with swine flu infection died Sunday afternoon.

Steve Erwin says the unidentified person had a number of medical conditions.

Erwin says it is not clear how the infection with the novel H1N1 flu virus contributed to the death.

As of Monday, Ontario had 715 confirmed cases, up 89 from Friday.

Nationally, Canada has reported 1,530 cases, with cases in all provinces and territories except for Newfoundland and Labrador.
