NEW YORK - Rosie O'Donnell says she's looking to come back to daytime TV with a show that will be about "laughter and love in the afternoon."

O'Donnell says the time is right for her return. She's looking to start a show next year, after daytime's dominant personality, Oprah Winfrey, ends her own.

O'Donnell told "Entertainment Tonight" that her new show will not be political or celebrity-driven. She says it will be a single-topic show. One example could be an hour on dealing with teenagers.

She has reportedly formed a company with two former Warner Bros. executives to pitch the show to television networks independently — an unusual approach in the syndication business.
