Jeremy Hull
ContactJeremy Hull joined CTVNews.ca as a writer in July 2024. He is also a digital co-ordinator for CTVNewsAtlantic.ca.
Based in Halifax, Jeremy began his career in film and television before turning to freelance journalism. His first stories were published in business magazines across Canada. He previously worked for CBC and Black Press Media while completing his master’s degree at the University of King’s College in Halifax, where he was the recipient of an RTDNA Canada award for audio storytelling. He enjoys reporting on art, health, economics and natural resources.
Before journalism, Jeremy was a writer in residence at the Canadian Film Centre. He graduated with an honours degree in philosophy and English from Dalhousie University in Halifax.
Jeremy spends his spare time writing fiction, making films, training jiu-jitsu, camping and fly-fishing.
He speaks English.
