LOS ANGELES - It's about to be downright quiet on Wisteria Lane.

A producer of the hit show "" says the show will stop production because it has run out of scripts.

The producer says filming of the show's 10th episode of the season will finish tomorrow. She says they will run out of new episodes to air before Christmas.

Other shows are also being affected by the strike.

Sources say Fox's "Back to You" and "'Til Death" have stopped filming. "Rules of Engagement," "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory" also reportedly will stop filming.

Writers went on strike Monday, saying they want a larger share of profits from DVDs and from shows airing on the Internet.
