Alexandre Bachaalani is a Montreal-based Digital Content Editor who joined CTVNews.ca in 2019. He studied communications and politics at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
He creates video content for CTVNews.ca and its social media platforms, as well as newscasts for Canadian airports and the Montreal metro stations.
Alex has a background in video production, content creation, and in social media management.
He has a specific interest in Canadian politics, social issues, minority groups and sports. He covered the COVID-19 pandemic, Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2021 federal election, to name a few.
Alex is a member of the Quebec Federation of Professional Journalists (FPJQ).
He is fluent in French and English.
