NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. - A mechanic who worked on the Pickton farm told the jury at Robert Pickton's murder trial he only ever saw one gun but no ammunition on the property.

Drew Hawley returned to the stand for further cross-examination by the prosecution after telling the court last week he'd also never seen any of the missing women on the farm.

Hawley testified that he'd never seen a handgun fitted with a sexual object found in Robert Pickton's trailer that was found to have one of the women's DNA.

He said the only weapon he'd ever seen was a rusty .22- calibre gun that might have been a pellet gun.

He also told the court he'd never seen buckets inside a freezer in Pickton's workshop, though he'd sometimes store spare parts inside them.

The buckets contained the remains of two of the women Pickton is accused of killing.
