A perfume museum will open in Paris in the former headquarters of Christian Lacroix, reports Women's Wear Daily.
The four-storey, 15,555 square-foot building will play host to Le Grand Musée du Parfum, which is expected to open in December of this year. The museum will highlight three phases of the history of perfume, from the time of the pharoahs in Egypt up to modern day. Visitors will also be able to discover a fragrance collection holding more than 60 scents.
Le Grand Musée du Parfum, backed by the city, will include a bookstore and a concept store.
