LOS ANGELES - The judge overseeing the Michael Jackson involuntary manslaughter case says jurors can be shown portions of a video laying out proper procedures for administering anesthesia.
Prosecutors wanted to present the video that shows the setup and administration of the anesthetic propofol, which authorities say killed Jackson after Dr. Conrad Murray administered it in the singer's bedroom.
Murray's attorney Ed Chernoff objected to showing the video, saying it was a dramatization.
Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor ruled the video is highly relevant and would be shown to jurors after a morning break. He allowed prosecutors to show some of the video on patients who suffer cardiac arrest.
Murray has pleaded not guilty.
