Canadian fast food lovers have a tall order to fill before getting a chance to start their day with one of Taco Bell鈥檚 highly publicized new waffle tacos.
Brian Niccol, president of Taco Bell, made Canadians a tempting offer during his recent Reddit 鈥淎sk Me Anything鈥� session, suggesting the menu could make its way north if they only agreed to take repatriate pop star Justin Bieber.
鈥淥nly to America? When is this coming to Canada?" one user asked.
鈥淲hen you take Justin Bieber back,鈥� Niccol responded.
鈥淚'm used to a different kind of Taco Bell burn,鈥� another user replied.
Taco Bell's new breakfast menu features breakfast burritos and hashbrowns in addition to the waffle taco 鈥� a folded waffle stuffed with a variety of eggs, cheese, sausage and syrup.
The company made headlines earlier this week when its advertising campaign featuring men named Ronald McDonald tasting Taco Bell's new menu items hit the airwaves.
"We like to do things with a wink and smile," Niccol told The Associated Press.
"We have a sense of humour."
