Lindsay Lohan has pulled out of a planned interview with Barbara Walters.
The 26-year-old actress was due to appear on â20/20â to talk about her new TV movie âLiz & Dick.â But with recent allegations of lying to police about a car accident in June and public spats with her parents, Lindsayâs PR team think it is best if she doesnât do any interviews for now.
âBarbara was going to ask her probing questions about her drug use, Dina Lohanâs drug use, the intervention and Michael Lohan recording their phone call and the familyâs money issues,â a source told RadarOnline. âBarbara was going to try and get Lindsay to talk about all of the drama in her personal life, including the possible upcoming charges for lying to the cops after her car accident, and Lindsay isnât ready to talk about anything.
âBarbara is one of the most respected journalists in the industry and she wasnât going to let Lindsay get away with telling any lies or spinning the story, so Lindsayâs team just couldnât let her go on the show and have it end up like Dinaâs disastrous interview with Dr. Phil.â
The source said Lindsay considers Walters a close friend and plans to reschedule the interview for a later date.
