No need to hold your breath any longer girls. Mr. Big is coming back!

After weeks of speculation, "Sex and the City" actor Chris Noth -- the man who put new meaning into the dater's phrase "big catch" -- has signed on to reprise his iconic role in the anticipated movie version of the hit HBO series.

Talk of a "Sex and the City" film first started swirling after the 94-episode series ended in its successful run in 2004.

Sarah Jessica Parker (aka Carrie Bradshaw), Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon will also be back with Noth in this new romantic comedy that will be distributed by New Line Cinema in association with HBO.

According to Michael Patrick King, the film's director and one of the executive producers of the TV series, "There is no need for funeral arrangements. I assure you that Mr. Big is a very 'big' part of the "Sex and the City" Movie."

Noth, 52, says he'll juggle work on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" with this new film project.

Stay tuned to see if love goes south for the hottest screen couple since Luke and Laura.
