CALGARY - Calgary police say they will reissue trespassing tickets to two men mauled by a tiger after allegedly breaking into the Calgary Zoo.

The Crown withdrew the tickets against Thomas Anthony Bryce-Hart and Trever James Wearmouth earlier this week, saying they weren't filled out properly.

Sgt. Rick Halford says there was a technical error on the summonses.

He says the evidence against the men remains the same and police will reissue summonses for both men in the near future.

Police allege two people scaled two fences at the zoo in the early morning of Oct. 5, allowing them to come right up against the cage holding Vitali, a 150-kilogram Siberian tiger.

One man suffered significant injuries to his arms -- believed to be bites and claw gouges -- while the other man suffered minor injuries attempting to free his friend.
