HONG KONG - The Hong Kong government says it has found traces of the industrial chemical melamine in baby cereals and crackers.

The government said in a statement Friday the contaminated baby cereals were made by Heinz.

It says melamine was also found in steamed potato wasabi crackers produced by Silang House.

It was not immediately clear whether the products were made in China.

The government urged the manufacturers to stop selling the products in Hong Kong.
