LOS ANGELES - A publicist for Lindsay Lohan says the Hollywood Hills home of the "Mean Girls" actress has been broken into.

Spokesperson Leslie Sloane-Zelnik says the break-in happened Sunday while the actress and her younger sister, Ali, were away.

Sloane-Zelnik says many of Lohan's "personal belongings were taken without remorse." Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman has said authorities were investigating whether any items have been taken.

Sloane-Zelnik says police have been given the security surveillance video from Lohan's home.
