Travelers planning their great wintry escape may want to check out TripAdvisor's list of the most affordable destinations this winter, which pegs Orlando to offer the best deal.
The travel and booking site released its annual Winter Vacation Value Report for 2017 and found that the best bargain for snowbirds in 2017 is Orlando, Florida, where a one-week trip is calculated to cost an average of $1,870 USD per person.
That compares to $3,223 for a similar trip not far off in Key West, which landed at the bottom of the list.
For the report, number crunchers took into consideration the least expensive average weekly holiday costs from January 1, 2017 to March 31, 2017.
That included hotel, return airfare, meals and attractions.
The week of Jan. 16, which was pegged as the cheapest time to book the trip to Orlando.
