TORONTO - The assault case involving the manager of the Black Eyed Peas and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has been put over until later this month.

Liborio (Polo) Molina faces an assault charge for allegedly striking Hilton outside a Toronto nightclub on June 22.

Molina didn't appear in court Wednesday as his lawyer, Mark J. Sandler, received disclosure from the Crown and the case was adjourned until Aug. 26.

Sandler said Molina wouldn't be present for that hearing either.

Sandler also said he would "likely not" file a plea on that date.

The lawyer said he will now review the Crown's case with Molina and declined to comment specifically on the assault charge.
