Kris Jenner learned some difficult news on the newest episode of "The Kardashians."

In the episode, streaming now, the matriarch of one of the world鈥檚 most famous families learns she will undergo surgery for a tumour on her ovary.

Jenner talked about her health with her family, including boyfriend Corey Gamble and daughters Kim, Khlo茅 and Kendall.

鈥淚 wanted to tell you guys something. I went to the doctor and had my scan,鈥 she said in the episode, crying. 鈥淭hey found 鈥 and this just makes me really emotional 鈥 they found a cyst and a little tumour on my ovary.鈥

She continued: 鈥淒r. A said I鈥檝e gotta have my ovaries taken out, and I鈥檓 emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys. That鈥檚 where all my kids were conceived and that鈥檚 where they were grown, in my tummy. So this is a very sacred place to me.鈥

The sisters called Kourtney Kardashian to include her in the conversation.

鈥淚 totally understand how my mom is feeling because I would feel the same way,鈥 Kourtney told cameras later. 鈥淚t鈥檚 your womanly power and it doesn鈥檛 mean that it鈥檚 taking away who she is or what she鈥檚 experienced, but I would feel this sentimental feeling of what it鈥檚 created.鈥

Jenner, who previously went through a hip replacement operation, seemingly remained positive in her outlook.

鈥淟isten, if I can get through the hip replacement, I can get through this,鈥 she said. 鈥淚鈥檓 not nervous to be put to sleep. I鈥檓 not nervous with Dr. A, she鈥檚 the best doctor in the world. But then you go to do it, and it鈥檚 so real.鈥

She added: 鈥淚t鈥檚 a whole chapter that鈥檚 just closed.鈥

Jenner has six children, including her famous daughters.

鈥淚鈥檓 gonna be fine鈥 have you guys. People often ask me what is the best job I鈥檝e ever had, and I鈥檝e always said 鈥楳om,鈥欌 Jenner added, calling it 鈥渢he biggest blessing in my life.鈥

It is not clear whether Jenner has had the surgery since the episode was filmed. CNN has reached out to Jenner for comment.

New episodes of 鈥淭he Kardashians鈥 air Thursdays on Hulu.
