The new headquarters for the Toronto International Film Festival has a name - Bell Lightbox.

The five-storey facility, under construction at King and John Streets, will include theatres, a library and a public gallery. Bell is a founding sponsor of the facility.

Bell Lightbox is expected to open in late 2009, with the first festival to operate out of it by 2010.

The capital cost of the project is $129 million.

This year's Toronto International Film Festival runs Sept. 6 to 15 and will feature 349 films as well as appearances by stars including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett and Jude Law. - Canadian Press
