During the semester, you will have the opportunity to work with UAS faculty and our local industry partners, learning about aquaculture enhancement in the classroom and in the field. You will learn about the history and policies of Alaskan aquaculture, skiff handling and small engine maintenance techniques, and everything in between.

Requirements: Mid-March is the deadline for priority consideration followed by open enrollment until filled - 12 participants maximum. An individual consultation with the Alaskan Aquaculture Semester faculty is the best way to determine if the program is right for you. Costs: Estimated costs: Tuition and fees: $3500, housing $2000, and meals and incidentals $3000. This does not include travel costs to and from Sitka.
