Notable Academic Programs- Biology/Life Science - The Â鶹´«Ã½s from Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Sciences Department have a very active participation through academic organizations, academic and co curricular activities.
- Nursing - Accredited by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Our Nursing Program provides the following Â鶹´«Ã½ support: Academic Advising, Nursing Students Association (AEE, in Spanish), Clinical Laboratory Skills Technician, Practice within a Controlled Laboratory Setting, Coordinator of Agencies for Clinical Practices, Participation in Extracurricular Activities. Incoming Â鶹´«Ã½s interested in Nursing require an academic evaluation.
- Psychology - Available courses: General Psychology I and II, Writing in Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Statistical Methods I and II, Learning, Industrial/Org. Psychology, Fundamentals of Psychological Interviews, Community Psychology, Principles of Psychological Testing, Psychopathology, Group Processes, Experimental Psychology, Experiences in Psychology Scenarios.
- Teaching and Learning - Accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. The following undergraduate degrees are available: Teaching English as a Second Language (Taught in English, Elementary and Secondary levels). Preschool Level Education, Early Childhood Education (K-3 and 4-6), and Secondary Education in Biology, Chemistry, History, Mathematics, Social Studies, Spanish, and Special Education (Elementary and Secondary levels). Also, a Master of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).
- Music - The Music Program offers four programs leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in Music: Applied Music, Music Education: General Vocal, Music Education: Instrumental, and Bachelor of Arts Degree in music.
