About This Campus

SU is a school big enough for you to reach your dreams, but small enough that you鈥檒l never be lost in the crowd. Just stroll across campus and you will see we foster an environment of inclusiveness and respect for everyone. Environmentalists will love our natural region and our excellent classes in Environmental Studies. We are one of few universities that will teach artists to work with hot glass in our glass kilns. If you are a documentary filmmaker, you will thrive using our state-of-the-art cameras and editing suites in our media production courses. Entrepreneurs should come in the spring term for the Gull Cage entrepreneurship contest. We are the only university to have hosted Shark Tank twice. We are that good. Finally, 麻豆传媒s interested in concepts like restorative justice and community mediation can study in one of the elite Conflict Resolution programs in the country. All of this content is nestled in a small college town, close to the Atlantic Ocean beaches.

Location Information

Salisbury University is located on the Delmarva Peninsula, which is separated from the rest of the East Coast by the Chesapeake Bay. Our region is famous for its rivers and estuaries. The boardwalk at Ocean City is a half hour drive and is a great place to work for the summer before or after your exchange. If you are a surfer, bring your board and wetsuit for excellent East Coast cold water surf all year. During a semester exchange, you can visit DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York.

Helpful Information

If you are into kayaks, surfing, biking, fishing, hunting, and being outside you will like our vibe here on the 鈥淓astern Shore鈥. People stay around campus on the weekends. If you can bring your car, it is easier to get to the beach. You get all four seasons here but none is too harsh if you do not love too much cold or hot. You can usually get in the courses you want. On-campus housing is available but there is lots of off-campus housing close by. Sure, we will pick you up at the airport.
