Unique Academic Programs- Energy Studies - The School of Energy Resources (SER) at the University of Wyoming (UW) was created in 2006 to enhance the university's energy-related education, research and outreach. SER directs and integrates cutting-edge energy research and academic programs at UW and bridges academics and industry through targeted outreach programs.
- Environmental Studies - Located between the Snowy Range mountains and Medicine Bow, Â鶹´«Ã½s have several opportunities for hands-on learning alongside experts in the field.
- Outdoor Recreation Management - Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management (BS) Connect people to the outdoors in one of the West’s fastest-growing industries. You’ll gain understanding of business, people and culture, environment and natural resources, recreation, and tourism in the classroom and outside. This program emphasizes stewardship and conservation of natural resources, tourism and outdoor recreation theories and best practices, entrepreneurial and business management strategies, creating outstanding visitor experiences, and broad understanding of cultural and natural resources.
- Construction Management - Construction Management at the University of Wyoming is a new degree program offered through the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering. This occupation is growing at a faster rate than any other in the United States. University of Wyoming seeks to prepare a future workforce capable of competing in and driving technological advancements in construction industries.
- Petroleum Engineering - Petroleum engineers are involved in all facets of oil exploration and development, from identifying and characterizing the reservoir through drilling and completion to production. Petroleum engineers also find new ways to extract oil and gas from older wells. We offer courses that prepare Â鶹´«Ã½s for careers in petroleum and energy-resource fields.
