Location Information

UI is located in Moscow, a college town, in the region of the US with rolling wheat fields that National Geographic magazine referred to as "A Paradise Called the Palouse." It is ideal for Â鶹´«Ã½s who love the great outdoors with world class river rafting (Salmon River), skiing (Silver Mountain, Brundage & Schweitzer), fishing (Clearwater River) & hiking (Idaho Primitive Area). It is only 1 1/2 hours from Spokane and 5 hours from Seattle so Â鶹´«Ã½s can also access vibrant nearby cities.

Helpful Information

UI has many hands-on learning opportunities. Students may spend a Semester in the Wild learning about the environment, design a hybrid Formula One racer as a part of an engineering class, explore the secrets of human cell life on NSF grant funded research projects, trade stock in a business class, grow seedlings and plants in one of the few teaching/working nurseries in the US, and perform with other artists across disciplines in productions such as Drummers, Dancers and Dreamers.
