Comedy star Will Ferrell will be putting his name to a new November 19 memoir entitled "Let Me Off at the Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings" in the guise of overblown news anchor Ron Burgundy.

The print and e-book release arrives a month before "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" is given cinematic release, reuniting Ferrell with Steve Carrell, Christina Applegate, Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson, Paul Rudd, and David Koechner.

"I don't know if it's the greatest autobiography ever written. I'm too close to the work," was Burgundy's press quote of choice. "I will tell you this much: The first time I sat down and read this thing, I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank."

Publisher Crown Archetype promises that the book will contain "never-before-told stories" and a rare glimpse into the real life of "a man many consider to be our greatest living news anchor."

Personal anecdotes will give readers the inside story on the women in Ron's life, his dog Baxter, and his colleagues in the news business, along with "sage advice on a variety of topics that matter most to him."
