Lindsay Lohan has pulled out of a planned interview with Barbara Walters.
The 26-year-old actress was due to appear on 鈥�20/20鈥� to talk about her new TV movie 鈥楲iz & Dick.鈥� But with recent allegations of lying to police about a car accident in June and public spats with her parents, Lindsay鈥檚 PR team think it is best if she doesn鈥檛 do any interviews for now.
鈥淏arbara was going to ask her probing questions about her drug use, Dina Lohan鈥檚 drug use, the intervention and Michael Lohan recording their phone call and the family鈥檚 money issues,鈥� a source told RadarOnline. 鈥淏arbara was going to try and get Lindsay to talk about all of the drama in her personal life, including the possible upcoming charges for lying to the cops after her car accident, and Lindsay isn鈥檛 ready to talk about anything.
鈥淏arbara is one of the most respected journalists in the industry and she wasn鈥檛 going to let Lindsay get away with telling any lies or spinning the story, so Lindsay鈥檚 team just couldn鈥檛 let her go on the show and have it end up like Dina鈥檚 disastrous interview with Dr. Phil.鈥�
The source said Lindsay considers Walters a close friend and plans to reschedule the interview for a later date.
