It may have not cracked the 100 million mark, but Ellen DeGeneres's parody of Adele's song "Hello" has gone viral in its own way for integrating Drake and Lionel Richie into an amusing spoof.

What fans may not know, says comedian DeGeneres to her daytime talk show audience to set up the spoof, is that Adele's song is based on a conversation between the two friends.

What ensues is a re-enactment of a failed cell phone call with bad connections, pre-touchscreen era (circa clamshells and brick-sized handheld receivers), call waiting with Drake and his new single "Hotline Bling" and another random call from Lionel Richie, who also calls just to say, "Hello."

The spoof has been viewed more than 533,000 times within a day of being uploaded.

Meanwhile, Adele continued her record-breaking streak by reaching the 100 million mark on YouTube this week, faster than any other song in 2015.
