Toronto Mayor Rob Ford had a surprise visitor at City Hall Wednesday 鈥� U.S. comedian Dave Chappelle, who came looking for information about the city鈥檚 smoking bylaws.
Chappelle reportedly wanted to know if he could smoke on stage during his show at the Winter Garden Theatre Wednesday night. It was not clear what answer Ford or city staff gave him.
Chappelle has already performed two sold-out shows in the city.
Chappelle and Ford posed for a photo together during their brief visit, which was posted on Twitter by a member of Ford鈥檚 staff.
