In a letter posted on social media, singer Adele confirmed that her upcoming album will be called "25" and called it a "make-up record."

The singer's highly anticipated next album has been the source of much speculation, with reports saying it will drop in late November. On Sunday, she released a 30-second song clip in a commercial that aired during the British "X Factor."

Now, , Adele offers insight into the album, saying "My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record."

She goes on to refer to the album by name, saying "25 is about getting to know who I've become without realising. And I'm sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened."
