Cara Rosenbloom, RD

Registered dietitian Cara Rosenbloom knows that what we eat can make a difference in our overall health and wellness, and she enjoys translating complex nutrition information into usable and helpful advice. She also believes that nutrition information should come complete with delicious and healthy recipes!

Rosenbloom holds a literature degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food & Nutrition from Ryerson University. She completed a dietetic internship at North York General Hospital to become a registered dietitian, and is a member of Dietitians of Canada and the College of Dietitians of Ontario.

Rosenbloom is president of Words to Eat By, a nutrition communications company based in Toronto. She is recognized by the media as an authority on nutrition and often appears on TV, radio and in print to spread nutrition messages to the public.

As a volunteer, Cara sits on the Technical Advisory Committee of the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Health Check Program, and organizes Dietitians of Canada’s presence at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. She is also the chair of the Dietitians of Canada Business and Industry Network.

An avid cook, Rosenbloom loves preparing new dishes for her two children, who have very adventurous palates.
