VANCOUVER - Another seven people have been charged in the Stanley Cup riot in Vancouver, while a second person has pleaded guilty.

Vancouver police say 19-year-old Emmanuel Alviar of Surrey admitted to a charge of participating in a riot and will be sentenced May 3.

Last month, the first person to enter a guilty plea, 20-year-old Ryan Dickinson, was sentenced to 17 months in jail.

The seven new people facing charges brings to 64 the total number of suspects who've been hauled before the courts since the riot last June 15.

The latest group includes three men between 20 and 26, and four teens -- three boys and one girl -- ranging in age from 15 to 17.

The Vancouver police riot investigation team says it's recommended charges against a total of 150 suspected rioters, and is continuing to work to identify more people for possible charges.
