A new video offers a bird's-eye view of the damage in Fort McMurray after wildfires tore through the northern Alberta community.
The aerial footage, captured by Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo officials on Tuesday and posted on YouTube, shows some areas that appear completely intact, while others were not as lucky.
The four-minute video captures giant swaths of charred trees and a trailer park that has been reduced to ash.
The video was released Wednesday, the same day the into Fort McMurray got underway.
