Roberto Luongo cannot get home to Vancouver fast enough.

The Vancouver Canucks goalie was victimized for three goals early in the first period before being pulled, as the Boston Bruins cruised to a 5-2 victory in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals.

The series is now tied 3-3 and is headed back to British Columbia, where Canucks coach Alain Vigneault will no doubt be facing many questions about his star goaltender.

Luongo has been sparkling at home in the series but was slightly worse than miserable when playing in Boston.

Monday night he only made five saves on eight shots before he was pulled for the second time in three games in Beantown.

Bruins rookie forward Brad Marchand scored on a bad angle with a wrist shot at 5:31 into the first, and Milan Lucic potted another from in close 35 seconds later.

Defenceman Andrew Ference's goal on a point shot on the power play ended Luongo's night shortly afterwards.

His replacement, Cory Schneider, didn't fare much better initially, letting the second shot past him as Michael Ryder tipped Tomas Kaberle's long shot into the top corner.

Boston's four goals were the fastest four goals scored by one team in the Stanley Cup finals.

Henrik Sedin scored 22 seconds in the third period to finally get the Canucks on the board.

But Boston responded with its fifth goal, when David Krejci converted a laser-beam pass from 43-year-old Mark Recchi on a five-on-three power play.

Vancouver got its second goal with just over two minutes left, thanks to an effort by Maxim Lapierre.

The Canucks started the game strong but seemed deflated after speedy right winger Mason Raymond was hurt on his first shift of the game.

Raymond was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Game 7 takes place in Vancouver Wednesday.
