OTTAWA - Beef products distributed from an Alberta-based producer to corporate clients are being recalled as part of an ongoing investigation.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Rancher's Beef have announced the recall of all beef products produced between June 8 to August 15 from the facility, which is under receivership and no longer operating.
The affected products were shipped directly to corporate clients in Canada, including distributors, processors and a small number of retail establishments.
The agency says the Rancher's plant is under receivership and no longer operating.
Last weekend, a recall was announced for some Rancher's beef products sold in retail outlets in Prince George and Lillooet, B.C. covering the same time period.
